Foremost, we at Schwartz & Hofflich, LLP (“S&H”) are dedicated to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our client’s and web site visitor’s personal information. To insure this confidence in our web site and demonstrate our commitment to privacy and online data security, we are disclosing our Privacy Policy and practices.
This Privacy Policy describes and explains the policy of S&H with respect to the privacy of information supplied by users of our web site or collected by S&H from visitors to its web site www.shcpa.com (“web site”).
By being a guest on our web site and using its tools or applying for a position with our firm, you agree to the collection and use of information by S&H in accordance with our Privacy Policy. These efforts, per industry standards, include firewalls and other authentication processes. We periodically review and implement new changes to insure the integrity of our operating environment. All electronic systems which store personal information are password protected. However, we cannot and do not guarantee complete security, as this does not exist on the internet.
Printed documents which are to be disposed of are destroyed through an in-house shredding process.

All partners and employees of our firm have been instructed on our policy regarding the handling of personal information and are required to sign an agreement of confidentiality which outlines the handling of personal information.

Privacy Protection Policy for Confidentiality of Social Security Numbers

Schwartz & Hofflich, LLP is dedicated to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our client’s identifiable personal information which is entrusted to us. These items, as an example, usually take the form of social security numbers, bank account numbers, brokerage account numbers and credit card numbers.
Disclosure Policy:
Schwartz & Hofflich, LLP does not disclose personal information that is capable of being associated with a particular individual through an identifier such as an account number, identification number, social security number, driver’s license number or other number as outlined in Connecticut Public Act No. 08-167.
Legally Required Disclosures:
Schwartz & Hofflich, LLP may be required, by applicable law, court order, subpoena or other legal process to disclose your personal information protected by Connecticut Public Act No. 08-167. It is our policy to comply with any such requirement. If permitted by law, we will notify you prior to making such disclosures.
