Neil Bayer

A former senior auditor with a "Big Five" accounting firm, and controller of several private companies, Neil Bayer brought his knowledge and experience to Schwartz & Hofflich in 1973. He was made a partner four years later.
Neil is frequently asked to speak at tax seminars. He has lectured at Cooper Union School of Architecture, before the Connecticut Society of Architects, and the American Society of Consulting
Planners, among others. He is a former editor of the quarterly magazine of the Connecticut Society of CPAs.
Neil is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County. He has served the local community in many different ways; as former treasurer of the Mid-Fairfield County Child Guidance
Center and as part of the Mayor's Committee to study Oak Hills Park, the findings of which are currently being put into action. Neil served on the Advisory Council of the Bank of Westport. He also served as President of Birchwood Country Club.
Travel and golf - especially golf - are the leisure activities Neil seeks as a respite from the office.
