Barry Newman joined us in 1980 after working for CPA firms in West Hartford and Stamford, and was admitted to partnership in 1985.

He participates in the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants Continuing Education program.

Barry is another of our sports-minded partners - not surprising for someone who made All-County Baseball in high school. He plays golf, avidly, as well as tennis, and formerly played softball for the Jewish Community Center of Bridgeport.

In addition to being an active sportsman himself, Barry enjoys working with sports-minded young people and has done volunteer work for the New Canaan Soccer Association, as well as coaching for local Little League teams.

Has completed all coursework for Masters degree in Taxation Program from the University of New Haven.

Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut at Storrs.

Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
