Schwartz & Hofflich named Ann Jevne its first woman partner in 1989. Ann first joined us in 1981 and, like all of our partners, she rose through the ranks. She is a CPA, a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
(CFP®) certificant, a Certified Divorce Specialist (CDS) and an accredited Estate Planner (AEP). She heads our Financial Planning Services practice.
An active member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs, Ann is currently the Chair of the Investment Committee. In May 2005, she was awarded the CSCPA Service Award in recognition of her work on behalf of that committee. She is also a member of the Trust, Estate and Gift Taxation Committee and, as of 2006, the Awards Committee. In June 2006, Ann will begin her term on the CSCPA's Board of Governors. Ann previously served on the PFP Conference Committee for the AICPA.
Ann is a founding member and past President of Allstar Financial Group, USA, a national affiliation of CPA financial planners. She is also past President and current board member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County.
Ann is frequently invited by professional groups to speak on various financial planning topics. She was named to Worth Magazine's list
of the Best Financial Advisers, in 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002 and was a contributing author for the book Tips from the Top: Targeted Advice from America's Top Money Minds. In 2005, Ann appeared on The Nightly Business Report on PBS.
